Water Heater Repair & Replacement in North Las Vegas, NV
Hard water leaves sediment in tank water heaters, which can shorten their life and cause rumbling, slow recovery or leaks.
About homes in North Las Vegas
North Las Vegas includes older neighborhoods near the city core and large newer subdivisions to the north (Aliante, Centennial area), so many homes are now reaching the age where original water heaters and AC units need replacing.
What to do right now
If the tank itself is leaking, turn off the gas or power and close the cold-water inlet valve on top of the heater.
What to ask before you hire
- Ask for the tank size, fuel type and whether permits and haul-away are included in any replacement quote.
- Ask for the contractor's Nevada State Contractors Board license number and look it up at nscb.nv.gov.
